I hold a doctorate in counseling psychology (Psy.D.) and a master’s degree in professional counseling from Carlow University, as well as a master’s in nonprofit management from Robert Morris University and dual bachelor’s degrees in communications and political science from Temple University.

I have deeply explored the psychological issues related to trauma, incarceration, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, gender identity and transitioning, personality disorders, as well as familial, relationship and socioeconomic stressors. I am a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Pennsylvania, and have provided services at Pittsburgh Action Against Rape, State Correctional Institution in Greene County, North Carolina Department of Public Safety, Allegheny County Jail, and more.

I am a Certified Grief Therapist and earned certificates for specialized training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Expression, and am a certified trainer for Mental Health First Aid. I am also a member of American Psychological Association (APA) and the Pennsylvania Psychology Association (PPA).

I have experience in IQ, personality, drug and alcohol, and projective assessments. I am a mom and wife. I value the importance of humor in life and in therapy, and my practice aims to create a welcoming space, free of judgement, with an emphasis on openness toward the individualized needs of each client.
